Leonardtown First Friday set to kick off for 2020 on July 3

News Release, Town of Leonardtown

The Leonardtown Business Association and the Commissioners of Leonardtown welcome you to join us from 5-8 PM for shopping, dinner, drinks and dessert on July 3rd! Restaurants will be open for dining in and take out. Select shops, stores, and galleries will also be open, social distancing and other guidelines will be in effect.

We thank you in advance for visiting and supporting our many small shops and restaurants, the last few months have been a very challenging time for all. We truly miss our friends from the community and look forward to seeing everyone soon!

The audience participation Drum Circle will also be returning. A few changes will be in place for this month: bring your own drum as we will not have instruments to share and bring a chair. We will have free egg shakers to give away (one per person) for those without instruments. Social distancing will be in effect.

The Drum Circle is outdoors, in the case of poor weather it will be canceled. Visit www.stmarysartscouncil.com or email: [email protected] for further info. This is a free event open to all ages and skill levels and is sponsored by the St. Mary’s County Arts Council and the SoMar Drummers. Location will be in the back parking lot area of the Arts Council at 22660 Washington St, Leonardtown, MD.

Check the “Leonardtown First Fridays” Facebook page for details about specific events in Downtown and beyond, we look forward to seeing you on July 3rd! Contact info: email Jen Stotler at [email protected] or call (301) 247-7611.
