News Release, Calvert County Public Information Office

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – March 27, 2020 – The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 2020, is canceled to help slow the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and limit the number of people infected.

The BOCC is reducing the number of meetings to conserve resources as county staff respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, and will be conducted remotely. Details for how the public can participate will be provided at a later time.

The county continues to share the latest updates surrounding Calvert County’s response to COVID-19 through a virtual resource center on its website, including any precautionary measures, guidance, and closures at www.CalvertCountyMd.gov/Coronavirus.

Updates will continue to appear on the Calvert County Government website, www.CalvertCountyMd.gov, Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CalvertCountyMd and Comcast Channel 6.
