WALDORF, Md. (November 4, 2019) – Simon®, a global leader in premier shopping, dining, entertainment, and mixed-use destinations, announced the beginning of the holiday season where families can make magical memories by taking photos with Santa as part of the Simon Santa Photo Experience at St. Charles Towne Center. Santa arrives at the Macy’s Court on the Lower Level near Starbucks on November 15 and will greet families until December 24.
“Visiting St. Charles Towne Center is a fun way for families to create lasting memories and experience all the joy that the holiday season has to offer,” said Director of Marketing and Business Development Kimberly Mallory. “We recognize the importance of sharing holiday traditions with loved ones. This is a special time with Santa that many families have come to cherish each year at St. Charles Towne Center.”

Santa FastPass: Save time, avoid the line by reserving your magical moment with Santa online.
Caring Santa: Provides children with all spectrums of special needs and their families the opportunity to visit with Santa in a sensory-friendly environment. Caring Santa will occur in association with Autism Speaks before regular mall hours on Sunday, December 8 from 8-9 a.m. Guests can reserve their appointment online.
Pet Photos: An opportunity for all members of the family, pet, and human, to visit with Santa. Pet Photos are hosted before regular mall hours on Sunday, December 15 from 8-10 a.m. and the set receives extensive cleaning following the event to minimize potential risks to allergy sufferers.
Breakfast with Santa and 19 Days ‘Till Christmas Party: Enjoy a pancake breakfast and extra festive family-friendly activities with St. Nick on Saturday, December 7 from 7:30-10:30 a.m. In addition, little guests can celebrate the countdown to Christmas from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. with cake pop decorating, crafts, pinatas, tunes spun by a DJ, face painting and of course, a jingle bell parade around the center with Santa! Storytime and Singing with Santa: On Sunday, December 8 from 6:30-8 p.m., families are invited to sing along as Santa plays holly jolly songs on the ukulele! Shoppers can also look forward to storytime with Kris Kringle’s favorite elf, crafts, balloon twisting, and milk and cookies. The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.
To that end, we are looking to the community to offer donations. Whether it’s a one-time donation or you set up a reoccurring monthly donation. It is all appreciated. All donations at this time will be going to furthering the Chronicle through hiring individuals that have the same goals of providing fair, and unbiased news to the community.
