Police searching for driver involved in Hughesville collision

MSP La Plata is looking for a Dump Truck which was the victim of a collision this morning, around 8:44 am on MD 5 in the area of Homeland Drive, Hughesville. After the collision, the driver checked on the other driver, before the dump truck continued into St. Mary’s County on MD 5.

The dump truck was the victim of this collision and described by witnesses as having a White Cab and a Silver Dump body, the truck’s tag contains a “2” and a “B”.

There is no indication the dump truck or driver contributed to this collision, but we would like to include them in our report.
