Today, we got to present a United States hero with a gift to show our appreciation for his courage, service, and sacrifice to our country. Jermaine is a retired U.S. Army Veteran and now serves as a member of the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department in SoMD.

During his tour he survived 3 separate IED explosions to the Hum-V he was in, a bullet to the skull and one to the chest; and to him, he was just doing his job. It seemed pretty obvious to the F4Heroes Veteran Task Force that he was definitely a hero and there was no one better to present 50 yard-line seats to the Army / Navy game at Lincoln Financial Field.

We also got him some cool Army mugs, a shirt, sweatshirt, and a room very close to the field at Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport.

This was our largest gift ever but so worth it and only because of the generosity of businesses and folks who believe in what we do and want to see us do more of the same.
