Touch a Maryland State Police Helicopter at Superhero Sunday

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – Oct. 10, 2019 – Get in on super fun for the whole family during Superhero Sunday at Dunkirk District Park Sunday, Oct. 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Calvert County Department of Parks & Recreation is excited to announce that a Maryland State Police helicopter has been added to the “touch-a-truck” lineup, which includes equipment and vehicles from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department, Calvert County Rescue Dive Team, Calvert County Highway Maintenance and construction companies.

All ages are invited to dress up in your superhero best for this free family event. In addition to the touch-a-truck spectacular, attendees will be treated to hayrides, a superhero obstacle course, digital photo booth, coloring projects, and a cape giveaway.
