FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) has announced its weekly awards following the sixth week of the 2019 men’s soccer season. St. Mary’s College senior forward Josh McRobie was tabbed as the CAC Offensive Player of the Week. This is McRobie’s first Player of the Week honor this season.
McRobie led the Seahawks to a pair of pivotal CAC victories this week against York and Salisbury. The Crofton, Maryland native led the Seahawks with seven points, recording three goals and one assist. Additionally, McRobie tallied game-winning goals against the Spartans and Sea Gulls. McRobie is currently second in the CAC in points with 18, third in goals with seven, and third in assists with four.
The Seahawk men’s soccer team improved to 8-2-1 with their two victories last week and will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 9 when they travel to Christopher Newport for CAC play. Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community.
