News Release, St. Charles Towne Center
Visit St. Charles Towne Center for our FREE Mall-o-Ween/Boo-fest event! Bring your ghost or goblin to the center for four hours of family fun!
Families will enjoy both traditional & allergy aware candy bags options at the entrance to the event, receive additional (traditional) candy as they partake in mall-wide trick or treating at participating retailers, a magic show with Mike Perello, carnival games with prizes, make & take fall & Halloween related crafts and canvas painting with Wonderfully Made 4 You, LLC (a small charge of $10 must be paid directly to the vendor for canvas painting).
Create and enjoy treats that you make at our treat stations. There will be cupcakes, and of course, there will be freshly popped popcorn. Be sure to commemorate the night with a selfie at our selfie station, dance to the music the Deejay plays and be sure to wear your best costume and enter our Halloween costume contest where the public votes (via text) to choose the winners.
The first, second and third place winners (in each category) will receive American Express gift cards as prizes.
Be sure to smile at the camera when you see the photographers from JK DeGraff Photography…they will be here to document the night. Its four full hours of family fun!

The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.
To that end, we are looking to the community to offer donations. Whether it’s a one-time donation or you set up a reoccurring monthly donation. It is all appreciated. All donations at this time will be going to furthering the Chronicle through hiring individuals that have the same goals of providing fair, and unbiased news to the community. For now, donations will be going to a business PayPal account I have set-up for the Southern Maryland Chronicle, KDC Designs. All business transactions currently occur within this PayPal account.
