St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Arrests for September 20, 2019

Assault-  On September 12, 2019, Cpl. Graves responded to the 20900 block of Point Lookout Road in Callaway, for the reported assault.  The investigation determined Ashanna Lanise Biscoe, age 22 of Callaway, punched the victim repeatedly, causing visible injury to the victim.

Biscoe was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.  CASE# 52365-19

Assault/Disorderly-  On September 14, 2019, Dep. Schell responded to the 45400 block of Miramar Way in California, for the reported disturbance. 

William Thomas Douglas

The investigation determined William Thomas Douglas, age 38 of Lexington Park, assaulted the victim in front of numerous witnesses by punching and knocking the victim to the ground, and caused a disturbance which interrupted numerous patrons at the entrance of the store.  Douglas was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree and Disorderly Conduct.  CASE# 52937-19

Concealed Deadly Weapon/Trespassing-  On September 14, 2019, Dep. Shelko responded to the 30000 block of Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall, for the reported trespassing.  The investigation determined Donald Earl Walker, age 31 of no fixed address, had entered onto the private property after previously been served a notice not to trespass.

Walker was taken into custody and located in Walker’s front pants pocket was a pair of brass knuckles.  Walker was charged with Concealed Deadly Weapon and Trespass: Private Property.  CASE# 52939-19

Child Abuse/Assault 2nd Degree–  On September 16, 2019, Dep. M. Beyer responded to the 45700 block of Church Drive in Great Mills, for the reported disturbance. 

Darnell Anthony Holley

The investigation determined Darnell Anthony Holley, age 34 of Lexington Park, assaulted the juvenile victim during an argument,  by choking the victim which caused visible injury to the victim. Holley was arrested and charged with Child Abuse 2nd Degree and Assault 2nd Degree.  CASE# 53342-19

Peace Order Violation-  On September 16, 2019, Cpl. LaFave responded to the 28900 block of Shannon Court in Mechanicsville, for the reported trespassing. 

Gregory Bertrand Gagnon

The investigation determined the victim had pulled into the driveway of Gregory Bertrand Gagnon, age 54 of Mechanicsville, at which time Gagnon confronted the victim, which was in violation of a valid court order which states Gagnon is prohibited from having contact with the victim by any means. Gagnon was arrested and charged with Peace Order: Fail to Comply. 

On September 17, 2019, Cpl. LaFave made contact with Jean Marie Gagnon, age 57 of  Mechanicsville, for having contact with the victim the previous day.  Jean Gagnon is also prohibited from any contact with the victim by a valid court order.

The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.
