Water meter replacement in North Beach coming over the next several weeks

News Release, Town of North Beach

The Town of North Beach has contracted with VEPO Metering to conduct a water meter upgrade project. Although this project is town-wide, some meters have already been upgraded. The remaining 800 meters will be upgraded over the next 3-6 weeks beginning August 19, 2019. Authorized installers from VEPO Metering will be working in the community with photo identification, car signs, and company uniforms to perform this important project. Typically, the upgrade of your water meter should take no more than an hour to complete. You may experience temporary water disruption.

Most water meters in the Town of North Beach are located in an outside pit, usually in front of the property. If the water meter is located outside, residents do not have to be home to receive the upgrade.

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this project, don’t hesitate to contact the Town of North Beach at 301-855-6681or VEPO Metering at 877-860-8376, at any time. We also urge you to visit the contractor’s website atwww.VEPOMetering.comto view a FAQ video that can provide answers to many questions you may have.
