Professor Grogan Receives the 2019 Pi Sigma Alpha/James I. Lengle Chapter Advisor Recognition Award

News Release, St. Mary’s College of Maryland

Susan Grogan, professor of political science, has been selected to receive the 2019 Pi Sigma Alpha/James I. Lengle Chapter Advisor Recognition Award. This award recognizes Grogan’s nearly 30 years of service as faculty advisor to Sigma Omicron Chapter at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and the chapter’s unbroken record of initiates during her tenure in this post.

The Pi Sigma Alpha Executive Council and the national office created this recognition, which includes a $1,000 prize and a certificate of appreciation, because it depends almost entirely upon the dedication and energy of the faculty members who serve as chapter advisors.
