Two firefighters injured in North Beach fire, loss estimated to be 1/2 million

UPDATE 8-14-2019: In the Office of the State Fire Marshal’s report it states that the fire started in a shed and is under investigation.

Two firefighters were injured, transported and released during the incident.

The loss is estimated to be $500,000.00

North Beach, MD- Firefighting crews are currently on the scene of a structure fire on Atlantic Avenue.

The units reported the fire was coming from the attic of the two-story residence.

At this time it appears the fire has been contained and they are hitting the hot spots. Watch for emergency vehicles in the area and personnel.
