The following people were arrested for Driving under the Influence

  • On 7/3/2019, Kevin Eugene Chase, 44 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tfc M. Manning
  • On 7/4/2019, Richard Lyle Moore, 2nd, 37 of Mechanicsville, MD was arrested by M/Tpr J. Preston
  • On 7/5/2019, Paul Martin Drechsler, 38 of Mechanicsville, MD was arrested by M/Tpr J. Preston
  • On 7/6/2019, Rodney Oneal Runnels, Jr., 30 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tfc M. Johnson
  • On 7/6/019, Nilda Fontanez Vazquez, 44 of California, MD was arrested by Tpr D. Harper
  • On 7/7/2019, Laura Marie Weber, 25 of Fredericksburg, VA was arrested by Tfc J. Mulhearn
  • On 7/8/2019, Markus Jarmel Scott, 30 of Oxon Hill, MD was arrested by Tfc M. Manning
  • On 7/9/2019, Markees Antoine Branch, 27 of Waldorf, MD was arrested by Tfc K. Bauer
  • On 7/9/2019, Thomas Daniel Chayka, 44 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tfc M. Manning

The following people were arrested for Open Warrants:

  • On 7/3/2019, Tommy L. Winkler, 52 of Indian Head, MD was arrested by Tpr J. Azzari for FTA-Intoxicated Public Disturbance
  • On 7/9/2019, Brandon Louis Sembly Johnson, 33 of Columbia, MD was arrested by Tpr. C. Shubert for CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and FTA-CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana, CDS: Possession Paraphernalia

The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.

To that end, we are looking to the community to offer donations. Whether it’s a one-time donation or you set up a reoccurring monthly donation. It is all appreciated. All donations at this time will be going to furthering the Chronicle through hiring individuals that have the same goals of providing fair, and unbiased news to the community. For now, donations will be going to a business PayPal account I have set-up for the Southern Maryland Chronicle, KDC Designs. All business transactions currently occur within this PayPal account.
