The Chesapeake Beach Water Park hosted 242 participants during the World’s Largest Swim Lesson on June 20th, 2019.

The World’s Largest Swim Lesson is a free event that serves as a platform to build awareness of the fundamental importance of teaching children to swim to prevent drowning. Swimming is a life-saving skill for children and a vital tool to prevent drowning, the second leading cause of unintended, injury-related death for U.S. children ages 1-14.
