News Release, Charlotte Hall Veterans Home

Charlotte Hall, MD– Yesterday evening, Cruisin Southern Maryland presented Charlotte Hall Veterans Home a $25k donation from the 8th Annual Car show which was held May 25, 2019.

The check presentation was followed by a delicious dinner and meeting for the group. Over the 8 years Cruisin Southern Maryland has raised $120K for Charlotte Hall Veterans Home. The group has purchased a Pavillion for our home which, cookouts, crab feast, and a cool place to sit for our residents. A transport chair for our residents to be transported to doctor appointments. The group also sponsors Proms, Outings, Oyster Scalds, Casino Nights and many other great activities for our resident.

This year the funds donated will be replacing dining room furniture for one of our units. We are very excited to get this project underway. Thank you from all of us at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home.

This group is wonderful and all the of individuals involved have very big hearts.
