05/04/19-  Deputy Forinash responded to the 40700 block of Willows road in Lexington Park, for the reported single vehicle accident.  Contact was made with the operator of the vehicle Gerald Lamont Simon, age 31 of  Lexington Park

Simon was found to be operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol and was charged with Driving Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se, and Driving While Impaired by Alcohol.  CASE# 26096-19


Criminal Citations:

05/03/19-  Chad Michael Anson, age 32 and Anthony Lee Anson, age 36 both of California,  were charged with Theft via a Criminal Citation by Dep. Forinash after they attempted to leave the Walmart store located on Miramar Way with an item concealed and they did not purchase. CASE# 25934-19 (No Photograph Available)

05/04/19-  Carley Shayne Norris, age 21 of Lexington Park, was charged with Theft via a Criminal Citation after concealing items and attempting to leave the Walmart store located on Miramar Way without purchasing the items.  CASE# 26099-19 (No Photograph Available)

The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.

To that end, we are looking to the community to offer donations. Whether it’s a one-time donation or you set up a reoccurring monthly donation. It is all appreciated. All donations at this time will be going to furthering the Chronicle through hiring individuals that have the same goals of providing fair, and unbiased news to the community.
