The Old Line Restaurant and Pub is now open in Charlotte Hall. Located at 30080 Three Notch Road, the restaurant offers a comfortable place to enjoy good food and drink! The restaurant has an open, welcoming, uncluttered dining room. The bar offers a nice selection of Maryland liquors and Maryland craft beer.

They also have several wines, served in cans. I’d never seen canned wine before, and I was surprised…it was good. They serve pub-type food with selections of pizza, wings, burgers, salads and sandwiches. I’ve been a couple of times and, both times, had food that was tasty and well-prepared. The appetizers were delicious! I had the Old Line Bites, which are similar to corn fritters, but with jalapenos, bacon and dipping sauce. The Santa Fe Egg Rolls were flavorful and good too.

On my second visit, I enjoyed a perfectly cooked burger and tots. I feel you can never go wrong with tots! We ended our meal with a wonderful, moist slice of Red Velvet Smith Island Cake. They have brick-oven and flatbread pizzas and, if you are eating gluten-free, they have a cauliflower crust pizza. I hear the Crab Pizza, with a pound of fresh crabmeat, is amazing.

The Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Wrap, with either grilled chicken or chicken tenders, has a spicy sauce, and is one of their top sellers.

The restaurant is owned and operated by the Boyd family. Mike, his wife Lynn, and their daughters, Danielle and Jessica, have worked hard to bring good food to Charlotte Hall.
