MSP- Leonardtown Arrests and DUI’s for May 8, 2019

News Release, Maryland State Police-Leonardtown Barracks

\On 5/4/2019 at approximately 1:00 p.m., the staff at Maryland International Raceway notified security about a man with a handgun sticking out of his pocket. Investigation revealed the suspect, Brandon Scott Mauk (25) of Roanoke, VA, did have a handgun in his possession. Mauk did not have a Maryland permit to carry a gun. Tfc Manning of the Leonardtown Barrack took custody of Mauk and transported him to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Mauk was charged with Handgun on person and Loaded Handgun on person. 19-MSP-018638


The following people were arrested for Driving under the Influence:

  • On 5/1/2019, John William Cryer, 36 of Boothbay, ME was arrested by Tfc J. Rutkoski
  • On 5/2/2019, James Roy Chase 2nd, 32 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tfc C. DiToto
  • On 5/3/2019, Daniel Gene Killillay, 28 of Porum, OK was arrested by Tpr T. Howard
  • On 5/4/2019, Curtis William Johnson, Sr., 57 of Brandywine, MD was arrested by Tpr T. Howard
  • On 5/4/201, Richard Matthew Butler, 49 of Mechanicsville, MD was arrested by Tfc J. Rutkoski
  • On 5/5/2019, William Flores Trujillo, 36 of Great Mills, MD was arrested by Tpr T. Howard
  • On 5/7/2019, Paula Marie Catlett, 43 of Lusby, MD was arrested by M/Tpr J. Preston ? On 5/8/201

The following people were arrested for Open Warrants:

  • On 5/2/2019, Rodta Edward Maddox, 21 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tfc J. Mulhearn for FTA-Assault 2nd Degree
  • On 5/4/2019, Darlene Tijuana Stackhouse, 48 of Great Mills, MD was arrested by Tfc M. Manning for FTA-Driving while License Suspended
  • On 5/4/2019, Ryan Duke Aud, 32 of Leonardtown, MD was arrested by Tpr K. Bauer for FTA/Driving while License Suspended
  • On 5/7/2019, Lenesha Shaa Alexander, 23 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tpr M. Whitman for FTA-Driving while License Suspended

The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.

To that end, we are looking to the community to offer donations. Whether it’s a one-time donation or you set up a reoccurring monthly donation. It is all appreciated. All donations at this time will be going to furthering the Chronicle through hiring individuals that have the same goals of providing fair, and unbiased news to the community.
