From Principal Jason Patton: If you have ever been at a school sponsored event at Dowell Elementary School, you are guaranteed to have seen Mrs. Verlich there interacting with students, staff, and families while building positive relationships.

Mrs. Verlich dedicates so much of her time to the improvement of all aspects of Dowell Elementary. From spending early mornings preparing for the news program and beautifying our school environment to holding after school clubs for gardening and STEM activities, Mrs. Verlich has her hands in everything going on in the building that has a positive impact on students.

As the school librarian, Mrs. Verlich is constantly seeking out resources to peek the interests of the young readers and digital citizens. She approaches her daily lessons with the interest of her students in mind. Mrs. Verlich ensures her students are engaged with relevant content that hooks young readers from the start. Dowell is lucky to have someone that is caring, compassionate and willing to do whatever it takes to ensure student success.

We are fortunate to have Mrs. Verlich on the Dowell team and appreciate all she does for the students, staff and community members.
