School system to hold teacher job fair April 13

La Plata, MD- Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) is holding a teacher job fair April 13. The fair — held from 9 a.m. to noon at St. Charles High School — is open to teachers in all subject areas for the 2019-20 school year.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a Maryland Teaching Certificate or a valid out-of-state teaching certificate that meets Maryland State Department of Education certification requirements.

Those attending the fair must complete an online application at for the desired instructional position by April 9. Administrators from several schools will conduct interviews at the job fair.
