Friday, February 1st – Leonardtown First Fridays Lovin’ Leonardtown, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., show your love for Leonardtown by shopping and/or dining local businesses during February’s First Friday event.
Friday, February 1st, First Friday Opening Reception hosted by North End Gallery, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., exciting new work from 32 regional guest artists will be on display at North End’s First Friday reception.
Friday, February 1st – Sunday, February 3rd, Performances “She Loves Me”– Friday and Saturday starting at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday at 3:30 p.m. See performances of “She Loves Me” – considered by many to be the most charming musical ever written, “She Loves Me” is a warm romantic comedy with an endearing innocence and a touch of old-world elegance.
Saturday, February 2nd, 2nd Annual Technology and Arts Expo at Patuxent River Naval Air Museum, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum (PRNAM) will be hosting the 2nd annual Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) Day at the museum on Saturday, February 2, 2019. The expo will feature sailing demos, Build a Hero and the space bus, the tiny house project and more.
The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.
To that end, we are looking to the community to offer donations. Whether it’s a one-time donation or you set up a reoccurring monthly donation. It is all appreciated. All donations at this time will be going to furthering the Chronicle through hiring individuals that have the same goals of providing fair, and unbiased news to the community. For now, donations will be going to a business PayPal account I have set-up for the Southern Maryland Chronicle, KDC Designs. All business transactions currently occur within this PayPal account.
