St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Arrests for December 29, 2018

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Mugshots and arrests briefs provided by the Public Information Officer of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office; Leonardtown, MD. 

Assault-  On December 19, 2018, Dep. Chase responded to the 25900 block of Chaffee Court in Mechanicsville, for the reported assault.  Investigation determined Tim Huu Nguyen, age 46 of Mechanicsville, assaulted the victim by grabbing the victim, and shoving the victim into a door frame.  The victim sustained visible injury and Nguyen was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree.  CASE# 68739-18

False Report-  On December 20, 2018, Corey Michael Bridgett, age 22 of Mechanicsville, reported to DFC. Molitor he had been the victim of an assault.  Through investigation it was determined Bridgett had manufactured the story, and he had not been assaulted.  Bridgett was arrested and charged with False Statement.  CASE# 68869-18

Attempted Burglary–  On December 21, 2018, Cpl. C. Beyer responded to the 41100 block of Oakville Road in Mechanicsville, for the reported attempted burglary.  Investigation determined Brandon William Brown, age 28 with no fixed address, attempted to force entry to the business with a shovel.  Brown was located and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Burglary 4th Degree/Burglar tools, and Property Destruction.  CASE# 69078-18

Violation of Protective Order-  On December 21, 2018, Cpl. Ruest responded to the 24400 block of Mervell Dean Road in Hollywood, for the request for a conservator.  While on scene a violation of a protective order was reported and investigation determined Donte Dwayne Gray, age 28 of Pomfret, had violated a valid court order by contacting the victim.  Gray was arrested and charged with Violation of Protective Order.  CASE# 69129-18

Assault-  On December 21, 2018, Cpl. Connelly responded to the 21600 block of Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for the reported assault.  Cpl. Connelly arrived and witnessed an active disturbance; while trying to conduct the investigation, Kevin Isaiah Lucien, age 26 of Lexington Park, became irate, and uncooperative and punched Cpl. Connelly.  Lucien was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Assault 2nd Degree-Law Enforcement Officer, and Resisting Arrest.  CASE# 69554-18

Violation of Protective Order-  On December 21, 2018, Dep. Budd responded to the 22500 block of Old Rolling Road in California, for the reported violation of a protective order.  Investigation determined Steffen Zachary Monger, age 28 of California, went to the residence which was prohibited by a valid court order.  Monger was arrested and charged with Violation of Protective Order.  CASE# 69495-18

Assault-  On December 22, 2018, Cpl. Connelly responded to the 46000 block of Gooseneck Drive in Lexington Park, for the reported assault.  Investigation determined Tameika Denade Thomas, age 33 of Lexington Park, had scratched the victim during an argument.  Thomas then left the area and in the process struck two unoccupied, parked vehicles and failed to remain at the scene.  Thomas was located and charged with Assault 2nd Degree, Failure to Stop after Unattended Accident, and Failure to Notify Owner After Accident.  CASE# 69606-18

The Southern Maryland Chronicle is a local, small business entrusted to provide factual, unbiased reporting to the Southern Maryland Community. While we look to local businesses for advertising, we hope to keep that cost as low as possible in order to attract even the smallest of local businesses and help them get out to the public. We must also be able to pay employees(part-time and full-time), along with equipment, and website related things. We never want to make the Chronicle a “pay-wall” style news site.
