Hearing to be held for Commissioners’ Authorization of an Easement Agreement for Maryland Broadband Cooperative

PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. – Nov. 20, 2018 – The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) will hold a public hearing Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, to consider and receive comments on a proposal to authorize an easement agreement for Maryland Broadband Cooperative to install cable underground and a build maintenance hut on the Cove Point Lighthouse property in Lusby.

The hearing will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Hearing Room at the Calvert County Circuit Courthouse, located at 175 Main St. in Prince Frederick.

Citizens can view the resolution online. Individuals who cannot attend the public hearing may submit written comments. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., Nov. 26, 2018, and may be submitted by emailing COMMISS@calvertcountymd.gov or through the U.S. mail to the BOCC at 175 Main St., Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
