Southern Maryland under first frost advisory of the season

California,MD- Fall has officially landed on Southern Marylands doorstep with the first frost advisory of the season. The National Weather Service in Baltimore/Washington has issued a Frost Advisory for all of Southern Maryland and surrounding areas from 1 a.m. Oct. 19- 9 a.m. Oct. 19, 2018.

A frost advisory means that widespread frost is expected. Sensitive outdoors plants may be killed if left uncovered. You should take precautions to protect these outdoor plants. Temperatures overnight are expected to be in the mid-30’s.
