Today I stood on the House Floor to support an amendment on the MD budget that would redirect a million dollars from Attorney General Frosh’s budget- money earmarked for frivolous lawsuits against the President, and instead spend it on school safety.
AG Frost has been using this taxpayer funded resource to conduct his crusade against the Trump administration. As matter of fact he hasn’t won a single lawsuit. He is 0-20. I believe this money is better spent ensuring the safety of our students in schools all across the state, unfortunately, our amendment was voted mostly down party lines.
I want to thank my colleagues that voted yes for their support to improve school safety.
